We inform you that AGEDI has signed a reciprocal payments bilateral agreement with the Argentinian producers collecting society, CAPIF – Cámara Argentina de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas for the management of rights of independent companies represented by these societies in both territories.
AGEDI adds to its international management a new and important Latin American country, of great interest for the Spanish music; hence, the rights generated for the usage in Argentina of recordings owned by AGEDI members, which mandate has been granted to us, shall be paid to AGEDI by CAPIF to be distributed among the relevant AGEDI members. Likewise, the rights generated in Spain for the use of recordings of Argentinian independent phonographic producers shall be distributed to their legitimate owners through CAPIF.
In AGEDI we keep working to sign as many bilateral agreements as possible, to allow the management of AGEDI members’ rights in as many countries as possible. More information regarding them can be seen here.
